- Water Reducer 205 is a powdered polycarboxylate based plasticizer and pozzolan blend. It is a dry, white, multi-component material that can also replace pozzolan in certain mix designs. Ideal for use in GFRC face and backer coats, or as a water reducer in any concrete formulation. It is often used when building a completely custom mix design. If using a Buddy Rhodes blended mix or admix, it is more common to use a product that is strictly a plasticizer such as Water Reducer 310. 420, or 555. Adding Water Reducers will increase workability of concrete mixes that have a low water to cement ratio. Maintaining a low water to cement ratio is critical for reaching optimal strength in the cured matrix.
Water Reducer 205 is 10% as potent as Water Reducer 310.
- Water Reducer 310 is a unique and powerful powdered polycarboxylate plasticizer designed to significantly reduce water requirements. Water Reducer 310 will make even the most stubborn mixes flowable
but must be carefully managed to avoid segregation of mix components. Adding Water Reducers will increase workability of concrete mixes that have a low water to cement ratio. Maintaining a low water to cement ratio is critical for reaching optimal strength in the cured matrix.
Water Reducer 310 has 10 times the potency of Water Reducer 205.
- Buddy Rhodes Water Reducer 555 is a high efficiency polycarboxylate-based superplasticizer in liquid form. It is ideally suited for use when making Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC). Water Reducer 555 has been
formulated to provide maximum workability without segregation to concrete. (Formerly BR Water Reducer)
