Soft, Softer, Softest . . . Ecoflex™ rubbers are available in several different hardness: Shore A‑5, Shore 00‑50, 00‑35, 00‑30, 00‑20, 00‑10, and 000‑35. They are suitable for a variety of applications including making prosthetic appliances, cushioning for orthotics and special effects applications (especially in animatronics where repetitive motion is required). Soft and Stretchy - EcoFlex™ is low viscocity and cures to a very soft, very strong and very "stretchy" rubber, stretching many times its original size without tearing and will rebound to its original form without distortion

DDT from Barcelona keeps it's head up
Effectos Especiales DDT from Barcelona got a heavy head - and they used Smooth-On Ecoflex 0030 to make it. After running test with this product and some "state of the art" competative products, DDT desided that the Ecoflex-0030 from Smooth-On had exactly those properties that they were looking for. It was also the best workable and most consisant product of the lot that they tested. Here are some pictures from the proces and the results.
